Max is our man on the ground who ensures that all our brilliant Partner Venues have everything they need to ensure that Tippsters are giving them valuable feedback. Max has a pedigree of working for some amazing brands and we are delighted that he has joined us at Tipps in such a key role
Will is KPMG’s sector lead for the leisure and hospitality sector and has 20 years experience of working in the sector. Will also works closely with industry bodies such as the ALMR and the BHA. Before joining KPMG, Will was a National Account Controller at Anheuser-Busch Europe Ltd.
Ruth's strong background in marketing has included illustrious achievements such as: developing and launching Premium Economy as Global MD, Virgin Atlantic; root to branch transformation of $27 billion bank, as CCO, Bradford & Bingley; and launching mobile phone services in 9 markets around the world as Global CMO, Sonera, Finland. Ruth is currently Global CEO of The Plastic Oceans Foundation.
Simon French is a research analyst at Cenkos Securities, based in the group's Liverpool office which he heads up. He has covered the leisure sector for 11 years and prior to this he spent five years working within various corporate functions at Whitbread Plc. He is a shareholder and non-executive director of Chop'd, which will have 18 stores across London, Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds by the end of 2016. A passionate believer about customer feedback he truly believes in Peter Drucker's maxim, "What gets measured gets managed".
Roger is founding partner at PE business JRJ Group and Non-Exec Director at ETX Capital. Previous to that he has held non-Exec positions for a number of businesses which he took on after his 11 years at Lehman Brothers International where he was most recently Global Head of Fixed Income.
Paul founded Quintessentially in 2000 and has overseen its expansion to now take in 60+ offices around the world for the core concierge business as well as bringing in another 40+ businesses to satisfy the needs of its members. Paul brings to TIPPS a vast knowledge of growing businesses across sectors and internationally.
Chris is the Managing Director of Wineguise, a Marketing, Sales and Management consultancy for luxury brands and small to medium size businesses requiring financial, strategic and day-to-day development. Current projects include the development of a global private wine client business and establishing a private members club concept with the Ritz Carlton Group in Eurasia.
Matt is a Head of Technology at Tesco. He is responsible for the technology strategy to develop and support how Tesco delivers a great customer experience, through managing stock for all product categories, across stores in all geographies. In his 13 years’ with the retailer he has covered all areas of the business through planning, buying, supply chain and channels; all with a passion for putting the customer at the core of strategy and delivering great service.
Julian Barwick, a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and previous Director of Development Securities, is a member of the U+I team, with continuing responsibility for a number of key projects. Julian has also been a property advisor to the Bedford Estates, chaired the Paddington Regeneration Partnership, sat on the board of the British Council of Offices and was a Non- Executive Director at London & Continental Railways.
Michael acts for companies and their investors in corporate fund-raisings, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and insolvencies and general corporate work. He is well known for advising investors on how best to realise non-performing assets, which include financial restructurings, turnaround finance and formal insolvencies. His clients range from entrepreneurs and growth companies to financial institutions and PLCs.
